What we know about you
This says what we know about you, why we know it, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect little.
What we collect
When you order: your name, your email, your phone number, the addresses you give us, and what you bought.
When you pay: the card itself is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store the full number. We keep the brand and the last four digits so you can tell one card from another.
When you write to us: whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit: the ordinary technical record every website keeps, and a count of which pages get read.
Why we collect it
To bake what you ordered and get it to you. To answer you when you write. To send the receipts, invoices and notices that belong to an order. To keep a record of what we sold, which we are required to do. To send the Sunday List, if you asked for it.
Who else sees it
Our payment processor, to take the payment. The carriers, to deliver the box. Our email and text providers, to send the messages above.
Nobody else. We do not sell your details and we do not trade them.
Your phone number
If you give us a mobile number and ask for texts, it is used for those texts and to reach you about an order. It is never sold, rented or passed to anyone else for their own marketing. Our text message terms say more.
Cookies and counting
The site keeps what it needs to hold your box and to keep you signed in. We count page visits so we know which pages are useful, and that count is not tied to your name.
How long we keep it
Order records for seven years, because tax law asks for them. Your account for as long as you want it. Permission to send you things until you withdraw it.
What you can ask for
Ask what we hold. Ask us to correct it. Ask us to delete it, apart from the order records we are obliged to keep. Leave the Sunday List whenever you like.
Write to hello@millandmantel.com or call and ask. We will not make it difficult.
Children
The site is not meant for children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
If this changes
We will change the date at the top and, if the change matters, say so in an email.
