What is in it, and what is near it

Last updated 26 August 2026

Everything is baked in one kitchen. That is the whole charm of it, and it is also the thing you need to know before you order.

One kitchen, shared equipment

Wheat flour, butter, eggs, milk, tree nuts and peanuts are all used in our kitchen, on the same surfaces and in the same ovens.

What that means for an allergy

We cannot promise that any item is free of a trace of anything else we bake with.

If an allergy is serious, please treat everything we make as containing all of it, and call us before you order. We would far rather have that conversation than the other one.

Gluten-free

Items marked gluten-free are made with gluten-free ingredients. The kitchen is not a gluten-free facility, and wheat flour is in use a few feet away.

That is a good choice for a preference. It is not a safe choice for coeliac disease.

Tell us when you order

Every shop order has a note field. Tell us there. If it matters, call as well, so a person knows and not only a screen.

The Sunday Box does not have one. Every box in a week is the same box, so nothing in it can be swapped or left out. If you have an allergy, please call us before you order.

Ingredients

Every product page lists what is in it, apart from the Sunday Box, whose contents stay sealed until Sunday. If something you need to know is missing, ask us and we will tell you, and then we will add it to the page.

Recipes change

We bake with the season, so a recipe can change. The page is updated when it does, and the date at the top moves with it.
