How we count visits
Last updated 18 August 2026
A short note, because the privacy policy mentions it and a sentence there was not enough.
What we count
Which pages get read, roughly where in the world the reader was, and whether they were on a phone or a computer.
What we do not do
We do not follow you around the internet. There is no advertising pixel on this site, and we do not build a profile of you to sell or to rent.
Why we bother
So we know which pages are useful and which ones nobody reads. That is the whole of it. A page nobody reads is a page we should write better or remove.
If you would rather not be counted
Set your browser to send a do-not-track signal and we will honour it. Or write to us and we will exclude you by hand.
